to set up an auto responder using Microsoft Outlook:
on FILE then NEW then CHOOSE FORM.
down "Look in" until you find TEMPLATES IN FILE SYSTEM.
click on EMAIL.
down to where you start typing your message (Don't fill in To:, CC:, BCC:, or
in your auto responder message that you want everyone to receive when you're
to FILE then SAVE AS.
down to "Save as Type" , click on OUTLOOK TEMPLATE,
& type in a file name for your auto responder message (ex. Vacation or Away
to RULES WIZARD.
"Check messages when they arrive" & click NEXT.
on the box that says "Where my name is" in the To: or CC:
box" and click NEXT.
on "Reply using a specific template" and then Click on the
bottom box where you see specific template.
click on the correct auto responder that you saved in STEP1 and click NEXT.
worry about exceptions, so click NEXT.
you're ready to apply this auto responder now, Click on "Turn on this
rule" and click FINISH.
not ready, then go to TOOLS, RULES WIZARD, click on the rules box
and click OKAY.
MAKE SURE YOU GO BACK TO RULES WIZARD AND "UNCLICK" THE CHECK-MARK NEXT TO THE RULE, WHEN YOU'RE READY TO RECEIVE YOUR MESSAGES AND TO DISABLE THE AUTO-RESPONDER!!
